The International Summer Media Workshop is scheduled for August 22 to 28 in the small town of Vrsac, Serbia. The expected participants hail from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Serbia, Slovenia and South Korea.

According to Miomir Rajcevic, president of the Media Education Center in Belgrade, the workshop is part of the Net4Youth project. The goal is to help young people learn to use digital technology and use it to communicate with other young people around the world. The workshop also is part of Roaming Reporters, a larger European project that aims to teach young people reporting as a form of communication.

The Serbian government is supporting the program. Rajcevic said that the program provides local transportation, meals and lodging during the workshop.
