From PR Lauren Archer for Red Bull
After the spectacular success of the first Red Bull Illume Image Quest, the world’s biggest photography contest for action and adventure sports now returns for a new edition – and you can be part of it!
With the first contest already resulting in a staggering 2000 international photographers submitting their pictures and the 50 finalist works being exhibited in breathtaking outdoor venues across North America, Red Bull Illume 2010 is set to get even bigger and better.
It's really a tedious job for photographers to remove the
background of their photos and sometimes even unable to do so properly
due to the lake of knowledge of handling the Photoshop Pen Tool. Some
people even don't know about the Pen Tool and try to use some other
techniques to cut-out their images, while the quality becomes very low
and improper to use.
The successful drama, Skins is coming to Channel 4 this summer and a new series is planned for E4 .
To celebrate this E4 have launched a search for talented and creative people to act as an official photographer at a Secret Party to be held in August. Other chances exist for designers and budding journalists to play key roles with the team at the event.
To find out more information and how to enter, head over to www.e4.com/skins.
Competitions close Monday 23rd July 2007.

UK Citizens Only!
The UK Government is about to propose restrictions on photography in public

photographers having to apply for ID cards in order to take pictures in
The consequences of these proposed restrictions to the fields of documentary
and street photography could be hugely damaging, potentially wiping out an
entire area of photographic practice and certainly provoking suspicion
around people simply carrying out their profession or hobby.
