Scottish Screen has appointed an Interim Chief Executive to direct the work
of the company following the resignation of John Archer who left the company
last week.  Currently Head of Production / Development  Steve McIntyre has
taken on this extra responsibility until a new Chief Executive is appointed.

Recruitment for a new Chief Executive is well under way.  It is expected
that an announcement of the appointment will be made during September.
