Ten
months on from the launch of Scotland's National
Cultural Strategy, a one day seminar is seen
as an opportunity to reflect on some of the
ideas the strategy raised and check on progress
made in implementing it.
The
seminar will be on Monday 25th June
at Glasgow University and will be addressed
by Allan Wilson MSP, Deputy Minister for Sport,
the Arts and Culture.
Admission
is free.
It
is felt the collaboration of academics, policy
maker and practitioners will allow a unique
opportunity for debate on a sector which has
a crucial role to play in shaping the new Scotland.
The
seminar is organised by the Centre for Cultural
Policy Research and is part of a research collaboration
between the universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde
for the Scottish Parliament.
