Wolfman to be shot in Canada
Dog Soldiers, written by debut feature director Neil Marshall, is to shoot in Canada over the summer. The script was developed with assistance from Northern Production Fund.

The film tells the story of a group of soldiers on a NATO training exercise who are attacked by werewolves in a remote part of Canada. The feature has been produced by Carlisle-based Northmen Films and Noel Gay Motion Picture Company (credits include Hellraiser and Virtual Sexuality).Sean Pertwee has been cast in the lead.

A NPF-supported short, Combat (written and directed by Neil Marshall) has been instrumental in attracting finance to Dog Soldiers. Combat features a cleverly edited war soundtrack carefully matched to the unfolding drama of a night in a bar.
