great site, crap name

Netribution was founded at the end of 1999. Funded by student loans and credit cards, the site grew to become the UK's most popular - and biggest - film industry website with over 26,000 monthly unique users. Due to a lack of funding from both private and public sources, Netribution.co.uk ceased being updated from February 2002. Ways of keeping Netribution's content up-to-date are currently being explored during this 'resting' period.

media research and analysis. This includes the management report Digital Asset Management for Informa Media Group, published June 2001 and the Online Art and Antiques Report for the Art and Antiques Trade Gazette, published August 2000

event management. In October 2001 Netribution co-managed the London Pre-MIFED Screenings with International Media Resources. The company has also organised festival panels and parties.

business services. Netribution opened the UK office for Paris-based portal and VoD outfit filmfestivals.com, advising on UK partnerships, and editing the UK version of their site. Netribution is currently working with Shooting People.

Founded by Nic Wistreich, Tom Fog and Wendy Bevan Mogg the site is today headed by Nic & Tom who oversee a huge team of volunteer writers and workers. The site is yet to make a penny, and is funded only by the above activities.
