Wallace & GromitThe new Wallace and Gromit DVD could become the fastest selling British film in history, according to early sales figures.

The Curse of the Were-Rabbit was released yesterday and was flying off the shelves at the rate of one copy per second in supermarkets.

The animated feature scooped Outstanding British Film of the Year at Sunday night's BAFTAs, the first time an animation has featured in the category. It is nominated for best animated feature film in the Oscars.
