Propeller TV, the national channel for new film and television talent is running a first in a series of unique and revealing master classes, supported by Skillset, to help and advise the region's new filmmaking and television talent.
 

This is a chance for filmmakers to expand and broaden their knowledge of the digital skills needed to work in the industry. Benefits include entry into the seminars, networking event & a cinema screening. Guest speakers from Germany, Scotland and Yorkshire.

Seminar 2: Special effects, Michael Clark, Producer of ‘The Planet'
Michael Clark, produced his Sci-fi feature, ‘The Planet' on a budget on
£8000. The film is currently airing on propeller. Join Michael for a
beginners guide to digital special effects

Seminar 3: Digital Distribution & Exhibition

Tilman Scheel, Director of Reelport
How do I distribute my film? Where do I exhibit it? What is VOD, IPTV? What
about film festivals, TV and the internet? Should I keep the rights to my
film?

Seminar 4: Film as Fine Art

TBC
What is digital space? What is a VJ? What skills can I learn about
interactive media and digital exhibition?
