Interested in film acting? Great!! Simon Cathcart the film acting coach and producer of the "Total Film Actor" series and Director of "Stagknight" the new Brit comedy horror (with Shoreline Entertainment USA) release early 2008 knows how hard it is for you to get training and access to people who have been there and he is here to say you can do it!! "Film acting is for presenters, students, directors, pa's it doesn't matter!! "Film acting is like no other performance style and you can learn how to do it." Indeed most of his cast are made up from people he's worked with in previous workshops and he has several new projects lined up and is extra keen to meet new faces.
WHAT ARE THEY?
These new courses will impact on your film acting development directly as he has designed them so you will be on camera for most of the time (rather than sitting around waiting for others to finish or listening to boring lectures), you will get professional feedback, and you are free to load up your clips and share it with friends, casting agents or directors you'd like to impress with your new screen acting prowess online straight away!
WORK COVERED
Work will range from concentration to desire, timing to tempo, veiling and internalising emotion, movement to gesture, atmospheres and character and we will be working in pairs on different styles of film acting from romance to action from suspense to comedy, building session by session adding new layers to our technique and you are invited to bring in your own video camera to film yourself as much as you want.
CLASSES
They will run evenings (two hours once a week for five weeks), weekends (two hours once a week for five weeks) and a one off five day intensive master class. Please note: all of the classes will run in London. Enrolling now! Contact:
