LFS Workshops presents: MUSIC LICENSING IN FILM & TV: A CREATIVE AND LEGAL PERSPECTIVE WITH IAN NEIL Leading UK Music Supervisor Ian Neil explores the complexities of placing music on a film. How do you find the right track, the right composer? How much does it all cost and what steps are necessary to ensure it’s all done legally? From Carolyn Atherton at the London Film School The London Film School has launched Fast Forward: a flexible upgrade programme for film and TV professionals looking to move up a level in their craft area or sidestep into a new one. The programme starts in January 2009 and is available in four areas: Editing, Feature Production, Production Design and Sound. Those selected for the programme will have access to intensive core workshops spread over 10 months for progressive learning whilst working. In addition each participant will be assigned an industry mentor who will guide them in developing their own individual career ‘prescription'.
